welcome to my little corner of the cosmos.
I never set out to be an entrepreneur. Growing up, school was a struggle for me and I often felt like I wasn’t very smart.
After university, I bounced between jobs, searching for where I fit and what I was meant to do until I discovered fashion sales. For the first time, I felt in my element.
I launched my first business, Alyssa Agency, in my mid-twenties. It was bold, unplanned, and one of the most empowering decisions of my life.
A few years later, after having my first child, I followed another intuitive nudge and started a baby and kids’ apparel brand called mini mioche.
Over the next 15 years, I poured my heart and soul into growing mini mioche into a multi-million dollar brand.
With no experience in design or manufacturing, no outside investment, and no partners, I turned a simple idea into a beloved Canadian company that grew far beyond what I could have imagined.
But building a business—especially one rooted in values, passion and purpose—is never a straight line. It was rewarding. It was challenging. It was deeply transformative.
In 2023, I made the soul-led decision to sell the business and step away. I didn’t know exactly what was next, but I knew I was being called to embrace a new chapter.
Taking a leap into the unknown is scary, but I truly believe that’s where the real magic happens.
The past few years have been a journey of learning, growth, awakening and transformation.
I’ve faced the parts of myself I once avoided: my relationship with money, my connection to my body, and the patterns and beliefs that kept me from playing bigger.
What I’ve come to see is that so many of us are carrying the same stories and blocks.
The same conditioning.
The same fears that keep us from fully claiming what we want.
And that’s what this chapter is about.
It’s about doing it differently.
Living, working, and creating with intention, energy, clarity, and heart.
And supporting others in walking that path.
LimitLyss was born from everything I’ve lived, learned, unlearned, and reclaimed:
That we don’t have to choose between success and well-being.
That we can build lives and businesses that serve us — not consume us.
And that when we grow, heal, and lead from the inside out… anything is possible.
This chapter is about aligning my time, energy and gifts with what matters most to me:

I’m here for the full human experience—the messy, the magical, and everything in between.

To lead with love and courage — and to hold space for others to do the same.
I believe in the power of sharing the journey—not just the highlight moments, but the real ones.
